Long ago, Mr. Don Chambers ('70), president of the eighth grade class of 1966, gave a wooden podium to Singapore American School on behalf of his class. Over the years, many leaders and speakers stood behind that podium–student council nominees, graduation speakers, principals, superintendents, and counselors.
