Drake Shares "Summer Sixteen," Announces Views From the 6 Will Be Out in April

Drake premiered a new song during tonight's episode of "OVO Sound Radio." It's called "Summer Sixteen." Listen to it on Apple Music.

In "Summer Sixteen," Drake raps, "I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay." He also raps, "Now I got a bigger pool than Ye, and, look, man, Ye's pool is nice/ Mine is just bigger that's all I'm saying." The song ends with DJ Khaled stating, "They don't want us to have a bigger pool than Kanye!"

Drake also calls out President Obama, who recently declared Kendrick Lamar was better than Drake. Drake raps: "To do what you couldn't do/ Tell Obama that my verses are like the whips at the end/ They bulletproof."

Following his mix, Drake announced that his long-awaited album Views From the 6 would be out in April.

Drake opened this episode's mix with "I'm So High" by Max B, the Harlem rapper who popularized the phrase "wavy" in his music. Earlier this week, Wiz Khalifa accused Kanye West of ripping off Max B when he changed his album name to Waves. Wiz's claim led to a memorable Twitter rant from Kanye.

Following "I'm So High," Drake premiered a freestyle from Nas over Future's "March Madness" (from Future's 56 Nights mixtape). Also during the program, Drake played his new song with Rihanna, "Work," from her album ANTI.
