"For me, the great joy of coaching MUN was to work closely with students who were bright, verbal, and interested in global issues of import. Furthermore, the ethos of MUN is for students to take on leadership roles, with the teacher/coach providing guidance, but incrementally handing the show over to students who were prepared to put in the long hours required to organise and to lead. MUN always attracts a very talented pool of students, so there was huge satisfaction for me in watching such raw talent become more confident and successful on the big stage," says Mr. Stagg.
