1982

The establishment of the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS) in 1982 was a significant milestone in high school student life at SAS. The founding schools—Singapore American School (SAS), International School Bangkok (ISB), Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS), and The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL)—had decided to move away from the multi-sport format of the past and focus on single sport tournaments played in defined seasons.
