In 1986, David Bowie starred as Jareth the Goblin King in the cult classic Jim Henson film Labyrinth. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is being rebooted by the Jim Henson Co. and TriStar (a Sony company). Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) has signed on to write the script, though it's currently unclear if the film is a sequel or a remake. (Entertainment Weekly reports that it's a sequel.) Update (1/25 7:43 a.m.): Perlman has clarified that Labyrinth is not being remade, via Twitter. See the tweet below.
Guys, please don't fall for all the clickbait. No one is remaking "Labyrinth." That movie is perfect as it is.

In the original film, Bowie's Goblin King kidnaps a baby (the younger brother of Jennifer Connelly's character) and hangs out with a bunch of Muppets. Find a clip of Bowie performing "Magic Dance" below.
