Singapore American School's Drama Club presented Oscar Wilde's Victorian-era satire, The Importance of Being Earnest, in March of 1963 on a new stage at the King's Road campus. Equipped with a lighting system, the stage was a vast improvement from the small dining room and rain-plagued outdoor options students had at the previous campus on Rochalie Drive.
