Sharmishta Sivaramakrishnan '12 started supporting Caring For Cambodia as the treasurer of the SAS high school Caring For Cambodia club for two years. Recalling her first visit to Cambodia in 2010, she says, "It amazed me that a country just two hours away by plane from Singapore had such an interesting, complex post-conflict environment affected by the mixed nature of its history, including both the Khmer Rouge genocide and the glory days of the Angkor kingdom."
