Easter weekend signals a new beginning of greater prosperity, success and happiness. It is a time to gather around family and loved ones to celebrate new hope, good fortune and the joys we share in life. Things have been cooking away here at the shop. We barely had a chance to welcome in 2016 and Spring is already at our doors. We have been loving every second of it, the projects have a been whirlwind of creativity and excitement!

With the arrival of Spring, the weather turns a new leaf and the days start to become longer than the nights again. It’s that fresh start everyone looks forward to as Winter comes to end.
It’s traditionally associated with the time of year to freshen up, out with the old and in with the new is on our minds and we all have our own version of the age old concept of “Spring clean” we like to engage in this time of year.
Spring is the perfect time to spruce things up around the house. It can be anything from taking on an entire room to revamp, getting new slipcovers for the living room furniture, recovering the patio cushions or changing the colour scheme in a section of the house with a new set of toss cushions for a fresh pop of colour.

New window coverings are a great way to brighten up a room and lighten up the feel of the space by adding a new element to your window space.
Slipcovers are another great idea for the spring time. They provide flexibility that you can use on and off throughout the year by providing new look options.
